Germination; Sow indoors. First soak seeds in water for 24 hours. Drain all water and place seeds in a freezer bag and place in the fridge for 6-8 weeks. During this time seeds must be moist, not dry or wet. Remove seeds from fridge and surface sow onto potting compost in small individual pots. Cover with a fine layer of vermiculite. Water and keep at room temperature. Germination takes a few weeks. In the first season the seedling will be 2-5cm high. Keep watered and in full sun. Pot on if needed in the dormant season. After 3 years plant into final position.

Growing; Prefers a moist well-drained slightly acidic soil. Low maintenance.
