Black Eyed Susan
This variety has a height of 60cm / 24 inches and a spread of 50cm / 18 inches. The flowers are deep golden yellow and 10cm wide. It is fully hardy in all areas of the UK.
Easily raised from seed, and succeeding in almost any soil and situation from semi-shade to full sun, is this very fine plant for the border, producing in August and September a profusion of golden-yellow flowers with a contrasting, almost black, central cone. Its long and strong stalks make it an excellent cut flower. Hardy throughout the British Isles. 2ft (60cm
