This is a delightful, cultivated variety with clusters of pure white, fragrant flowers against a back-cloth of bluish-green foliage. A long-lived perennial, it can be grown in the border, in reasonably rich soil, for both ornament and cut flower use when it can attain almost 4ft in height or, in poor soil on the rockery, when it will remain a most attractive dwarf. Sown early, it will flower the first year.
