This is an easy to grow hardy annual featuring gorgeous, tissue paper-like blooms, which are perfect for borders and cottage gardens, reaching the height of 60cm. Discovered in the early 1880's, this beautiful single Poppy has become a firm favourite in British gardens.  Shirley Mix is a blend of white, rose, red, pink and crimson flowers with delicate, papery petals which flutter in the breeze.  Very easy to grow, they should be sown outdoors in autumn or spring.

Packet size is approximately 2,000 seeds.

Sow outdoors from March to May or August to October, where they are to flower, 0.5cm deep, directly into finely-prepared, well-drained soil, which has already been watered. Seedlings usually appear in 14-28 days. Thin them to 20cm apart and water well until plants are established. For a continuous display, make sowings at two to three-week intervals. Sowings made in curves, rather than straight lines, often create a more pleasing effect. Late summer and autumn sowings will flower the following year, often earlier than spring sowings. Flowers from June to September.
